Pros & Cons
Pros
Surface prep is crucial! Excellent product for the price. Looks great. Will review again in a year. An excellent product.
Cons
A week later, if i rub a paper towel on it, it is still oily. It absorbs unevenly too. Left our deck as red as mahogany.
Highlights
Quality
Been using product for 28 years in wisconsin weather and my deck is still in great shape, awesome product.
It is a great product and has extended the life of my wooden deck.
All products have fell far short of their claims.
If you read the instructions, apply it until it remains unabsorbed for fifteen minutes, then wipe off the excess.
Price
This beats paying $100(part one and part two), per gallon for a water-borne product.
I found it on amazon at a better price.
Shipping
The product arrived quickly and without damage.
Packaging/appearance
It looks great on my log house and i am very satisified.
I told you this before, but the cans were kinda banged-up and dented but there was no leakage evident.
Competitiveness
One coat of the above is more waterproof than 3 coats of the big box store brands.
