Highlights
Quality
Easy to apply, sets up fast, durable.
Use this to seal wood and is a great sealer for modern day mdf doors so it doesn’t soak up tons of paint.
The can is disintegrating on the inside and flakes of black rubber pieces.
I cleaned it with vinegar water and sos pads let it dry and oiled it with linseed oil multiple times.
Price
Very good product at a great price.
New quarts are normally $22 - $28/can.
Shipping
No issues with shipping/delivery on my purchases so far.
The can had no other scuffs or problems so this probably was damaged in shipping.
One can had been dented in shipment and leaked significantly through the plastic inside and cardboard.
Packaging/appearance
Packaged very well and this is a great product
Abbey carpet came in and removed the hallway carpet, stretched the bedroom carpets, and put down treshholds.
Competitiveness
I've always preferred shellac to other finishes when it's appropriate to use, probably because it doesn't smell terrible.
