You do need a rivet gun for install like other reviews stated

It’s a good cheap replacement but a huge pain to install the welt cord in the awning track

The balance cord is sewn in but the main cord has to be fit in the rail after the install

Extended the awning and disconnected the power to the motor on the forward arm then disconnected the forward end of the roller tube then while holding roller tube from turning pinned the coil spring end to prevent the coil spring from unwinding

After unpinning tentioning coil spring and plugging in power cord to motor the awning was rolled up and back out a few cycles with supports nesting back together as new
