I read many of the reviews for this product before deciding to purchase and was admittedly a little nervous about the two main complaints ive read about difficulty connecting in an hdmi audio return channel configuration using a tvsound bar setup and low mic volume

Then i realized that i didnt have the source volume particularly loud

This product is a mixer not an amplifier

So if you want louder vocals try increasing the source volume in my case my tvsound bar volume and decreasing the music volume level on the mixer

I tried other mixers and this one is just plug and play
