I'm a surveillance camera installer(among other things), and i regularly punch holes through 8" plus of poured concrete.
Don't ever try to drill into concrete/masonry without using a hammer drill, or you'll be cursing at the slow progress drilling the hole.
Price
Dollar for dollar its a great value.
Great price for a very good product
And you can buy 3 or 4 of these for the price of one dewalt.
Shipping
Vendor delivered on time and was reliable.
The drill was just as advertised and came very quickly.
Competitiveness
In comparison with my older model:good points - the automatic chuck brake, making it easier to tighten/loosen the chuck jaws.
I've had the opportunity to own and use most name brands on the market.
They hold up well, especially considering how much cheaper they are than dewalt and others.
