I wish i had known about this tool earlier, fantastic quality and functionality.
This tool is high powered and, like all ryobi 18v tools, can use makita batteries with the adapter.
Competitiveness
I do a lot of car wiring so a corded 110v iron isn't my favorite.
I already have a few 18-volt ryobi products, so this was an easy choice.
Makita didn't sell a cordless heat gun but ryobi did so i got one with an adapter for makita 18v batteries.

Like i turned it on and then got my phone to browse for a bit while it heated up and by the time i got my phone unlocked and an app opened it was done heating to temperature
