Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a nice planer to have around to shave doors which have become sticky. Depth adjustment works great and it cuts plenty smooth for any job you'd use a cordless planar on. Installing doors trim etc. Is a breeze.
Dewalt cordless planer is a time saver. Works great for a corded router.
I love ryobi products as they never disappoint. All of my other tools are ryobi, so it was just a matter of slapping in a charged battery. The blades are reversible but to get replacements you'll have to order them online.
Cons
The planer bogs down constantly. Not a great router. Unable to use.
Highlights
Quality
Depth adjustment works great and it cuts plenty smooth for any job you'd use a cordless planar on.
Light cuts gave me a very good finish.
The battery did not make it through the white project on a single charge and did require multiple batteries to keep going.
I used product to trim a door such that it will actually close without scraping on the jamb.
Price
It planes well for a cheaper tool.
Competitiveness
My cordless tools are primarily dewalt and ryobi and both have cordless planers.
