Pros & Cons
Pros
Drill has plenty of torque and is lightweight/well balanced no matter which battery you use. Small, lightweight yet lots of torque. I wish it had a stronger magnet with it.
One+ battery system is awesome, interchangeable with countless other tools. Durable battery is still good. It is more expensive but there seems to be a very big improvement. The old one was stuttering.
It’s the best drill i’ve had! Its cool. It's an excellent drill.
V recharger for ryobi saws. Inter changeable with other ryobi products.
Cons
This product was advertised as 'new' it intermittently cuts off during heavy use. That is crazy engineering for a drill i paid $35 brand new.
Highlights
Quality
Good grip, bright light, not loud during operation, locks on bits reliably.
This is one amazing drill, first time i used it was to drill 2inch holes in 1/4 inch steel and it powered through like it was butter!
One charge and i was able to drive 2 1/2" wood screws into redwood for at least ten hours.
Going from my old drill to this brushless is like going from an old 4 cylinder beat up car to a hungry v8.
Price
Great drill for the $25 promo price.
Good deal, quickest ryobi drill i think
Works for me at a reasonable price.
Looked at the cost of batteries and the decision was made.
Shipping
Drill driver arrived quickly and just as described
Packaging/appearance
My new drill arrived in a plastic bag with a free bit but missing belt clip.
Didn't come with belt clip, but didn't expect it too.
Competitiveness
In many head to head tests on youtube the power and speed between tools of each brand is negligible.
I also looked at the hitachi which is really a very nice drill.
I wanted a milwaukee, did some googling and found out both brands are made by the same company.
I use the high-end battery and no compaints.
