Pros & Cons
Pros
The ryobi mower runs like a golf or go cart. The ride is a bit bumpy. Everyone that comes over wants to take a turn riding this thing.
Electric mowers are popular because we believe it saves some resources, like gasoline, reduced noise, etc. One con for me is the fact that it needs to be constantly plugged up and isn't really recommended to be stored outside where it'll get wet.
The grass * is huge and the mulching cover installs weirdly, but hasn't given me any problems. The mulch feature is great and the power was enough for my acre and hills.
The mower has plenty of power and climbs hills like a champ. It also has a ton of torque. It pulls me easily, even out of small ditches.
Cons
The battery life meter immediately drops to 50% when i start mowing. Within a year they will probably develop leaks and i will need to put inner tubes in them.
Low powered blades. The blade motors definitely have less power than the gas mowers. No signs of life. Tires are cheap, blade spacers are plastic and break easily, rides rough, not as much power as a gas riding lawn mower.
Highlights
Quality
The mulch feature is great and the power was enough for my acre and hills.
Led lights are bright and much appreciated, the controls are simple and easy to use.
After 4 years, the batteries were barely servicable, only able to cut 1/2 our yard.
Zero maintenance in 2 years and i'm going on year 3 now.
Price
Would i pay over $3k for this.
Also the blades will need replacing every year or so, at a current cost of about $35.
So if i had to do it over, i think it would be a hard pass, for the price i paid.
I will say 2 years ago i bought this at $2500 and it looks like the price has went up by a lot.

And if the grass is long or damp or there are large leaves to mulch the mower will need more juice and the batteries will run down faster
