Easy to use and adjust and seems to cut very precisely with the led guide.
I don't bother with the extension arms either although no doubt some users would find them handy.
Packaging/appearance
Especially if you buy them at home depot in the statestheir 18v+ line is great for tools you use occasionally.
Competitiveness
Best mid priced tools on the market.
It cost 25% of the festool kapex 120 i use for furniture work but almost 75% as good.
It just built a 30 sqm deck and it sliced through 60x 200mm beams like butter.

In use i’ve noticed that the stud moves and will suddenly lock the moving saw down just when you’re expecting it to move up this may just be peculiar to my own machine but it could have consequences

There are two switches on the side of the handle for the red alignment laser and the white led lighting i guess these could have been automatic functions but conversely you do have the choice available as to whether to use them or not

There is also a screw clamp provided to hold down the work piece but as the saw is single bevel and you will need to swap sides for some cuts it would have been useful if a second clamp had been provided not sure if this can be purchased as an accessory
