Pros & Cons
Pros
Easy to mount/use. Works like a champ. Only drawback is now i need a socket and wrench to change implements. Works like a charm.
Whether you're taking out zombies, or just cutting some dang branches, this is the tool for the job. Great machine for trimming trees and palms. Cuts thru limbs with no trouble, very impressed.
Cons

Highlights
Quality
The string trimmer is really an attachment for the powerhead, ry40002.
Pops in and out with the greatest of ease.
Beware the 40v can be a shoulder workout if you're not used to it.
I had a sizeable branch down across my camp road a few weekends ago, and wore out my battery trying to cut through that with the b&d.
Price
Was worth the discounted open box price.
Shipping

The chain was sharp right out of the box.
Competitiveness
It is muuuuch more powerful than my b&d 40v saw.
I bought mine at home depot, not amazon, but i took this attachment along with my 40 volt battery ryobi power head out to the w... Read More
I shortened the aluminum outter tube housing by abut an inch.
However, i suspect as ‘extensions’ are added between powerhead & attachment.
