Didn't come in an official ryobi box. No instructions, etc. Not cool. I realize the window of opportunity closed but its a waste of money if he won't work.

It warms up pretty fast and i'm pretty happy with the control i get using it.
I have not experienced this with the glue sticks that came with it.
These other glue guns could not keep up with the demand.

I tried two different guns and they both do not stay charged for more than 30 minutes of use

The only downfall is that it drips hot glue so beware of where it is while you are waiting for it to heat up

It could be that i dont push the glue stick very hard so there isnt much pressure behind it when i let go or they might have improved the design

Works almost too well very very hot no glue string it melts the glue stick in seconds so there is a lot of waste because the glue keeps spitting out
