Pros
Charge is a little short to do all my garden but recharges fairly quickly. Could do with a wheel to assist with lawn edging.
This is perfect for my allotment. I get a good cut on the grass and the battery lasts a really good amount of time. Even the small battery lasts longer than expected!
This battery operated strimmer is much quieter. For anyone with arthritic hands, the battery is easy to attach and remove.
Cons
The cordless mower lasted about 5mins a charge. There is a design flaw to the push/click button that holds the two pieces of handle in place. I am willing to believe mine was maybe just faulty though?

Very happy with the product and if you have other ryobi products so don't need the battery it's a very reasonable price.

For anyone with arthritic hands, the battery is easy to attach and remove from the strimmer.
Competitiveness
Great had a lot of tuff grass to trim before mowing and didn't break a sweat got 40+ minutes out off a 5ah battery.
Have lots of 18v batteries so made sense to get another one.
I use a 5ah battery which gives me sbout an hour of strimming.
Already had the batteries to fit so just had to buy the body strimmer lime seems to be a bit lightweight.

This is my 4th strimmer corded was a pain the petrol ones too heavy and cumbersome to keep filling with oil and fuel mixtures a battery one with the plastic detachable blades which just fling off the second you hit a leaf

The wire seemed to be wound too tightly around the spool hence when its required to be fed out it would not and required me to stop and manually re feed the wire from the spool

I say check what you are buying as there are options for the unit on its own no battery or charger and combinations of these
