Only worked the first two times charging. The light on the front no longer turns on. The ones i have used only a fee times are the only ones still working.
Highlights
Quality
No issues with design quality or use.
It was not new in the box but it is a great product.
After these die out, we are done with the ryobi brand.
Price
I was skeptical when i ordered the charger because the price was such a bargain compared to the same item at big box stores.
Shipping
Works great, no problems and quick shipping.
Competitiveness
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------we bought a lot of ryobi battery powered products.
The first 40v weed eater's charger is now dead after using it just over a year.
12v drill/driver, 40v weed eater, then another 40v weed eater, and a 40v hedge trimmer.

Now realistically why these ryobi chargers would die is strange ive had many other battery chargers for numerous applications and they typically last for years if you dont mistreat them in some way
