Pros & Cons
Pros
Love the drill, it's easy to handle, stands up ( unlike my dewalt) so far both have been great tools. Every battery powered tool that ryobi makes uses the same battery.
Cons
Ryobi will not let you send the drill yourself, they instruct you to go to either home depot or one of the very few service centers they have. This item was received damaged. Returned it. Arrived doa, wouldn't work. Here is a picture of what i receive... Read More
Compared to other cordless drills i've used, this one has lower power and lower torque. It was stripped after only being used twice. Seems to be a refurbished item.
Highlights
Quality
It works great for projects around the house and works with the batteries i already had.
It works with the one+ battery that i use for my other tools so it's perfect.
I love the ryobi brand with the power and reliability, but when you buy a new item and it goes to crap the first use due to refurbished!
Price
Great drill at an even better price.
Competitiveness
Bought the drill because i have an 18vdc ryobi vac, bought the powerextra batteries to use with both.
I had a working 18v one+ battery so all i needed was the drill and this was perfect.
Less than half the cost of the comparable drill at home depot.
