My last on lasted 23 years love the quick blade release. Lite and quick. Good battery life.
The motor engages immediately on the standard saw when the trigger is pulled. It does an excellent job of that and is more efficient and easier to use than my chainsaw.

One of them experienced a failure with the latch that holds the blade in place.
Figure i saved ~$100 doing it myself, so i paid for the sawzall.

It is well worth the extra cost.
