It seems to be a very cheap and underpowered motor. It burns out with the slightest of stresses. Don’t wast your money.

0ah battery in it and then drill 16 off 12mm holes about 9 inches deep into concrete with it.
2ah battery doesn't last long so i got a 5ah .
Price
This was priced at £90 at the time, normally sits at £100.
I paid £100 for this tool it is so useful and would not give it back for £500, all the ryobi tools i have bought are excellent.
Though not really on a professional level (my drill ended up losing its centre), but then it’s not a professional price.
Competitiveness
My point is ryobi is ok, do not expect performance like its dearer competitors.

The first one that arrived had no hammer function the bits only spun without hammering so sent it straight back

Bought this to drill into brick as i think they were old and made out of kryptonite my normal ryobi drill seemed to struggle

Only downside is being from ireland there are a lot of item now not shipping lithium batteries one of them i thought if they came oversea there would be no problem but not a hope get to the stage ryobi no good if you cannot get batteries especially after buying all my ryobi tools from amazon
