This is a new addition to ryobi’s one range of cordless powertools they share a common battery type so only one recharger is needed but batteries come in five different power ratings to cover everything from a torch to a lawnmower note the battery and charger do not come with the sander and need to be purchased separately

As ever with hand sanders of this general configuration 6070 of the dust will go into the air so the literatures repeated warnings to wear a dust mask are definitely justified

For horizontal surfaces this is fine as the tool and surface do the loadbearing part of the work but for vertical sanding and raisedangled work its really quite weighty
