Plug and play, video quality is excellent.
The adapter seems reasonably built and fairly solid as are most sabrent products i've used.
Video from my laptop streamed easily and cleanly after plugging in to the tv (less than 1 second lag), but no sound transferred.
Sabrent offers a one-year warranty, which is extended to two-years if you register the product on their website.
Price
Selling for such a low price and doing a pretty good job at it's purpose is high value and gets 5 stars from me.
In conclusion this very inexpensive adapter does a pretty decent job of matching mini-display port video to 4k (or 1080p/i) hdmi output.
The apple version of this particular adapter is $34.

Amazingly for us the adapter worked perfectly straight out of the packaging, quick and simple.
Competitiveness
There are a lot of mini displayport to hdmi adapters on the market (and amazon) for around the same price.
I wouldn't go with any other brand for the same product, even if there was a significant price difference.
Although, just as well, since the first model (now discontinued) cost almost as much as a second imac.
