Pros & Cons
Pros
Mac mini and mbp connect no problem. I use mine to switch a 4k@144hz monitor andamp; 6-12 high speed usb devices between my desktop & laptop and it works surprisingly well. Alt mode functionality that works with thunderbolt 3 and usb-c ports. Wind... Read More
Sabrent thunderbolt 4 kvm switch has lots of connection options for both usb-c and usb-a. It powers a new mac laptop and a mac mini, plus a wired usb mouse and keyboard.
Used with missing parts for my case. Can be mounted on the wall or under the desk. The magnet switch button has a magnet at the bottom so it will stick to a metal surface. The compact and lightweight design is a great space-saving feature, perfect for... Read More
The usb type-c dual kvm switch with power delivery comes with everything. It comes with an abs bracket for wall/desk mount, and a kvm switch. It also comes with two usb type/c to usb-c cables.
Thunderbolt 4 is still a somewhat niche standard (it's not that different from thunderbolt 3). The sabrent thunderbolt kvm is not cheap but it is only a bit more expensive than a good quality thunderbolt dock. Tl;dr - this is currently the only thunde... Read More
Cons
I hope they can fix these issues in future revisions but based on the conversation that i had with their company, i have my doubts. They said they would send a replacement, but they never responded to my emails again.
It keeps connecting and disconnecting so it's impossible to work. When switching from the laptop to the desktop pc, the dock sends current to the motherboard and destroys components. There is no fallback to usb-c or other modes if thunderbolt signal f... Read More
The kvm switch locks up from time to time. The only way to reset it is by unplugging both computers from the kvmswitch. Unresponsiveness of keyboard and monitor causes frequent unresponsiveness. It works for less then < 1sec.

Highlights
Quality
Super easy to set up and solid construction.
It works perfectly and easy to install, just plug in the power and the 2 pc and it works flawlessly and the connection is stable.
I’ve plug in a 3a 15v wireless charger and it blinks green light (not sufficient power).
I even have a microphone plugged into the display, and both the camera and microphone are passed through flawlessly.
Price
I think it’s great for money too, this price for that many ports + supports for 8k 60hz.
This unit adds extra power, plus extra thunderbolt 3 and thunderbolt 4 ports for your accessories at a reasonable price.
It is also very cheap for this functionality.
One might ask, "do i really need a $450 keyboard, video, monitor switch that supports two computers, thunderbolt 4, 4v 2.
Packaging/appearance
In the box, you get the switch, the power supply, power cables for different kinds of outlets and a short thunderbolt cable.
Competitiveness
The mbp just won't pick it up as an external display, and i don't have a 100% reliable way to switch.
If you do not have high-end graphics needs, there are plenty of cheaper alternatives to the sabrent kvm switch, although not wi... Read More
It looks so clean, no comparison to cluttered hdmi/dp switches which for a dual-screen setup require two video cables and one u... Read More
