Sabrent doesn't really care enough to design this device properly in the first place, nor disclose its limitations. A built-in timer without user control is a point of failure for my applications. Response time when working on file has turn sluggish.

It appears that the fan is lowered about 1-2 mm below the bottom of the unit. Wd red pro 20tb - not recognized. Tried wd gold 16tb, not recognized. Also does not work with sata ssd with or without the power adapter.
