Mine did not come with any such system and the cable it fixed to the top side of the keyboard

The key caps are nice only thing that is slightly confusing for me is that the keys print screen scroll lock and page break are printed with two letter initials but this is minor

For instance the manual instructs the user to press fn and ins keys together to change the light mode
