Pros

Terry top and heavy soft plastic with a velcro tight zipper. I use it for dust mite allergies and i feel confident it keeps them all locked in. But it still eventually builds up too much heat during sleep.

Bought two of them for my toddler - no regrets. Still works great. Very reassuring. Definitely worth the money spent. Don't regret it.

Soft and comfy. Easy to put on and zip up. Very supportive and comfortable.

Cons

Mattress encasement business is exploitive. This claims to prevent the bugs from being able to infest the mattress. Don’t waste your $50 bucks.

Cover looks quality, but the description on sizes is inaccurate. Flimsy material zipper is super-super thin. I thought chances were 80% that it was gonna break on installation.

Small rabbit peed on my futon. Soaked right through it and the futon is ruined. It looks awful, covered in yellow * splotches.

This is marketed as "waterproof" several times in the description. It's not waterproof. Does not have breathable fabric. Instructions say to put in dryer on low (not medium) because that ruins the polyurethane lining.

It takes forever to dry because of the plastic material it has inside, i'm not looking forward to the next time i have to wash it.

Only complaint is it was not in an amazon package, delivered in the manufacturers package.
