The buckle actually has a redtogreen indicator on the clip that will let you know if the clip is buckled or not

I did notice that my two year old has a hard time reaching the cup holders when buckled up since the holders seem to sit far out from the seat

I also will sometimes have to lift their one leg over the cup holder otherwise it gets stuck on cup holder
