These are total junk. It had been dropped on a hard surface prior to being shipped.

Best knife i ever seen, top quality and well made.
The leather is thick enough , evenly stitched, retaining strap perfect fit and blade fits perfectly with no play.
The knife is not made in england.
This is my first perkins knife and it won’t be my last !
Price
This is much better than i expected for the price.
This knife gives full value for the price.
This product is an extreme value and i would've paid 3x as much for this knife.
Overall i think this is an excellent purchase, especially for the approximately $74 i paid for the item.

My knife came in moderately quickly and i was very excited to receive it.
3 day cross country trip coming up where i will put it through it's paces.
Packaging/appearance
Overall it’s a nice knife, but then i opened the package it was in, the blade was covered in a strange greasy substance.
