Pros & Cons
Pros
These are mostly charcoal in color but were acceptable. My husband has pretty sad feet that are super flat with bunions. They are dramatically comfortable with a super grip. They have been this far squeak free.
The salomon men's pathfinder mid-height waterproof hiking boots fit my needs well, as a good general-purpose boot for everyday use or for most hikes. The sole is durable enough to protect your feet from rocks and rough terrain but the stiff sole is le... Read More
As a cross-country skier, i'm very familiar with the quality of salomon products. The innersole is cushioned and provides good arch support. They also have a removable ortholite insole, which is a nice feature.
They feel unbelievably comfortable, very lightweight, plus you get waterproofing, which is just as good as gtx. They fit fine not tight at all. Fits a little snug but comfortable.
Boots go up past the ankle slightly. They're easy to lace up and look perfect for hiking. Provides ankle protection and grips well. A double knot is a must.
Cons
That statement is blatantly false and should be removed. Very disappointing.
The soles are durable but the lace hooks are already broken and the inside heel support is worn out. They are way too small to ever be able to stretch out with wearing.
Highlights
Quality
Very nice hiking boots: quality craftsmanship, attractive style, and quite comfortable.
I really like the style, tread pattern, comfort, and the seemingly waterproof foot booty that lines the inside of the shoe.
Being full synthetic, you can toss ‘em in the washing machine with a couple old towels and they come out looking brand new.
Shoe is too narrow and wide wasn't an option.
Price
Been buying them elsewhere for way more then what we paid and they are always good shoes

Depends on the price paid, they always fit my feet well so will buy more maybe stick to gore tex in the line.

My feet stayed relatively dry even hiking through snow slush and mud about half the time the moisture that got in wasnt from any design flaw in the shoes these are low tops and some of the snowmud was deeper than the shoes
