Pros & Cons
Pros
Wore them on some easy 4 mile hikes before using them on a 20 miler. Been wearing them hiking everyday for the past week and no problems. Be sure to wear a good double layered sock like weight.
The support with this salomon x 3 extra wide is excellent. Really comfortable & great support. Really very nice boot. Fits well and are comfortable.
The boots still fit but were super snug in the foot box. The shoes work perfectly for me. I'm not a fan of the people who leave snark and ignorant comments about how the shoe *.
Cons
Bad company passing off bad merchandise. No goretex label. Everything is manufactured in obscure sweat shops with no quality control.
After 100 hikes, and 800 miles, the fabric is cracked through. One of the shoestring eyelets has started to rip from the shoe. Waterproof boot that can’t be used near water, smh.
Shoe is advertised wide but is definitely not. Sole is about 1/2 inch narrower than my 4 year old, smaller size boots. Main issue is that there is not enough padding for the heel.
These shoes are fragile. While they are lightweight and comfortable, they didn't even last one year(9mo) of light/medium use. The top of my foot was pinched. One of the metal shoe lace grips separated from the boot and shot across the room.
