Pros

They are very light, waterproof, and have excellent traction. The waterproofing has been put to the test on multiple occasions. The tread almost looks like car tire tread so you don't have to worry about slips.

These fit snugly and are well made. The feet are the hands of your legs so these shoes should do well protecting them as they have the power of goretex. These are definitely wider and much comfier on my feet.

My nephew gave me a pair 5 years ago. If nothing changes, i will certainly plan to repurchase when the need arises. Price of these is about half of what i'd expect to pay for shoes and boots from equally respected, competitive brands.

Cons

The pioneers are the only pair of solomons i don't like. Can only loosen up so much because of the tong being sewn for waterproofing. No heel hold, walk right out of them. Never buy solomon shoes again.

These salomon's are not the quality i expected. Poorly made and not of a salomon quality.

These are incredible shoes for the price.

These were superbly priced and i could not pass them up.

My nephew 5 years ago gave me a pair, i’m not one to pay so much for shoes, i’m more around $40.

Toe box is a little tight and had to clip a toe nail because it was rubbing.

You can feel the quality compared to other brands like adidas and others.

I bought these shoes because they look very similar to the x ultra version 3 model.

I always throw out the factory insoles no matter the brand.
