Quality

I was incredibly impressed with the quality and comfort of these boots.

Overall quality and seams are great and i'm looking forward to a 3 day backpacking adventure with these on my feet.

I wish i could have got a pair with the natural colored tread.

Wasn't familiar with the salomon line, although i knew they were known for their skiing stuff.

Packaging/appearance

These fit perfectly right out of the box.

Hiked the rocky mountains in them for 4hrs right out of the box.

Good traction, stability, have not yet been in the mud/water but seem to be waterproof as advertised.

Competitiveness

The soles are slightly more thorn resistant than other brands.

Tbh i love it more than the advertised color.

These will not replace my leather welted boots for backpacking with weight.
