Pros

When snugged tight around the ankles, the boots are very supportive and comfortable. Plenty of room in the toe box. Comfortable and great room inthe toe area.

Salomon hikers are a backup to the ones i’m currently wearing. I like that they look like a sneaker and are not as heavy as leather hiking boots. The wind goes right through my sneakers. I have another pair of hiking boots that were about $70.

Cons

Turned out to be a womans shoe. I wear a women's size 8 in other shoes, but these size 8s were much too long.
