I tried another pair by merrill first but the arch was closer to the heel which was not comfortable and i returned those

The tongue is shorter on this shoe than what i am use to and it has only 1 lace tie bracket at the top

In tying just once the laces kept working loose and then the tongue and shoe became loose

They are very comfortable and light and if i were to ensure my pants were over the top of the shoe while it was raining i dont think water would have entered the shoe
