Pros

Great shoe for day hikes, walking the dogs, or running about town. The ankle support is superb and the laces stayed nice and tight throughout the entire hike. The sole is soft, but provides enough ankle support and fit well.

They have all the versatility of a reliable boot, also really great traction on these things. These shows fit great like previous older version but look better. Solomon makes the best boots.

Cons

There is zero cushioning in the heel. Sometimes the hooks on the top for the lass get caught on your jeans or elsewhere.

Competitiveness

I've tried many other models of salomon hiking boots and shoes and these are the best fitting by far.

The shoe is great but amazon need to sell more size options than the standard size from the brand because is narrow for me.

One thing i discovered is that salomon is one of the only manufacturers that has size 12.
