Pros

I'm extremely picky when it comes to comfort. The fit is comfortable and the design is as expected from saloman. june 2023. Laced securely and with thick socks.

I use the quest ultra 4d for heavier hikes with a backpack. Great shoe for day hikes, walking the dogs, or running about town. Also, great looking and they always get complimented.

Cons

The problem with this shoe is there is zero cushioning in the heel. They look great, but are really quite hard, and sometimes the hooks on the top for the lass get caught on your jeans or elsewhere.

Competitiveness

I've tried many other models of salomon hiking boots and shoes and these are the best fitting by far.

The shoe is great but amazon need to sell more size options than the standard size from the brand because is narrow for me.

One thing i discovered is that salomon is one of the only manufacturers that has size 12.
