Pros

The sammons reacher is a workhorse. This is why i ordered the 3-pack. I now have a grabber in each bathroom.

This is by far the best picker i have ever used. I find this model to be more efficient and reliable than the folding, rotating head, padded pincher models.

The grabber is capable of picking up many things from paper to heavier items. It picks up fairly heavy objects to slips of paper. It is also useful for plucking lighter items off of high shelf. Love the magnet at the end to pickup things like paper cl... Read More

Cons

After one month of light use the jaws no longer close all the way and the gripping power is week. The contact area for grabbing things is much smaller making it harder to grab stuff. This reacher is not sturdy in my opinion.

Well built i have used the shorter version for 19 years still works great

These are sturdy, and they grab tightly without much effort.

Part of it in the arm falls out and i have to put it back in--plus the power of this reacher and grip are not as good as the original.

The single jaw does actually reach to the end of the stick and presses against a foam block to hold trash.

Price

The price was great for such a helpful tool.

For the price, it is definitely cheaper than blowing my surgery by bending further than i should.

This is why i ordered the 3-pack, as i now have a grabber in each bathroom, one in the kitchen, bedroom and family room.
