Pros & Cons
Pros
Sound is crisp and clear. Great mic for vocal recording. Only issue is the wiring.
I am absolutely satisfied with the samson co1 mic. I have other much more expensive microphones that do not deliver the quality and clarity of sound that this mic does. Do yourself a favor and get this mic.
Best bang for your buck by far. I would reccomend buying as a bundle.
Excellent for pod-casting or recording a conversation. These are more than adequate for podcasting kind of stuff and for recording demos.
Cons
The c01 microphone is a terrible microphone for podcasting. There is no way to adjust the gain which is extremely high. Latency issues when trying to hear yourself. No option to fix either. This mic is trash.
Highlights
Quality
Really great quality and feels really well built.
Pair this with a good preamp i would recommend the focusrite 2i2 and it sounds great!

Really, that was pretty naive on my part because in trying to solve a mobility problem i ended up creating a noise problem.
Price
Highly recommended for the price it’s listed for.
Best bang for your buck by far.

Pretty nice for the price, what else can i say.
Shipping
Shipping came quick and no question about this mic.
Got what i ordered and on time.
Competitiveness
The sound is as clean and crisp as my samson q2u which is more money.
Still, the samson costs a lot less money than the nt1 (my primary mic for recording my double-reeds).
Way better than a bunch of the usbs in the cost range but the noise floor is a bit higher than i'd like for the cost.
