Pros
The mini boom stand easily reaches this distance with plenty to spare. I'm real impressed with how far it extends compared to other booms.
This exudes quality from the moment you pick up the box as it lands from ups. Decent build quality, nice boom extension, small footprint. Works as advertised.
Stand is great for micing small combo amps and acoustic instruments. Also an easy way to mic a speaker or amplifier. Bought it to mic my twin amplifier, and i might buy another.
Stand holds the heaviest of mics. Comes with a microphone holder. Holds phone, camera or mic with no problem.
Cons
The tubing is too thin to hold up to just about anything. The top of the main post where it connects to the boom is cheaply pressed together. The screw that keeps the thinner telescoping stick in place is not long enough to tighten sufficiently.
Same issue as one of the people in the customer questions section. This is what happens when you are interested in making a profit rather than a product. Initially gave this a good review until today.

The internal washers didn't grip, the boom arm sagged.

It is cheap for what the quality is.
Which gets second for price and durability, gator stands are awful.

I'm not sure where it came from that it took so long to get, but no matter, i'm happy i bought it!
Packaging/appearance
Just from the packaging alone, you'll know - this thing is solid.
You can raise it some from the packed size, by the way.
