The closer you get, the more bass you get. The audio quality is very crisp, giving it that live feel i enjoy. The build quality, the sound are perfect and really can't be beat.

The rustling in my hands and wind. With drum recording there was some feedback and clipping. Plenty of grip. No concerns of slipping and dropping.

The samson q7 is sturdy, feels solid, a bit heavy and elegant.

I dropped it one day after 6 years of abuse and it broke, replaced it right away with another one.

This is a great mic for a great price.

This is a very nice mic at a price that is just incredible.

This microphone was twice the money at our local music store.

We paid half the price for the same exact thing!

It would have to be packed separately in an equipment case.

Because it had so many positive reviews i decided to try it out as a vocal mic first, and it really is much better than the sm58.
