Pros
Samson sp01 spider shockmount works fine for me. Mxl official shock mounts were ranging from 50 - 80 usd. Works perfect with my audio-technica at2020 mic. Holds my at2500-usb microphone without any dipping.
Cons
The metal for the attachment thread is very soft - threaded correctly once and never threaded again.
Not at all. It keeps on sliding down. Very disappointed.

Some fine threads are involved and therefore one must be a little painstaking the practical alternatives would be either a fit that had a bit of rattle to it or the use of materials that more quickly degrade and fail

However dont stockup on bands years in advance theyll degrade even if stored in a proverbial cool dry place

The mount is advertised as fitting all mic stands which is true in some sense

But very small stands such as that which comes with the c01u pro will just fall over if you try to use this mount
