Pros & Cons
Pros
The only thing i can complain about is the cardboard that was rubbing against the parts that took the finish off. The quality of this cabinet is great, i'm very happy with it.
I now have a furman outlet and dbs 286s installed on the top 2 slots, a nave point shelf in the center holding a mixer and cloud lifter gain booster. Laying the whole unit on its back for easier mounting lets gravity hold the components in place while... Read More
The rack mount is very sturdy and 4 casters make it easy to move in-n-out. Castors seem nice, and 2 have locks. If you choose to not use the castors (i didn't) there is still ample space at the bottom of the rack so the piece of equipment mounted in t... Read More
The rails are reversible to fit the two different sizes of screws that are included. The mounting rails are perfectly aligned. The instructions have a double fit for spacing, one for european standard and the second is for an american standard setup.
Patience grasshopper. Do not mistake it for any sort of road or touring rack. Its a given, youre going to be acceasing the back and re arranging your studio.
Highlights
Quality
The unit is very sturdy, when filled with the equipment.
Easy to assemble, feels as sturdy as a welded one-piece rack with the convenience of flat pack delivery.
I went with the samson srk-16 and so far it was worth me money and time.
The instructions did not explain this clearly, merely saying, put the punchouts out for usa.
Price
What a lovely rack, the size is perfect, price you cannot beat and looks professional.
I like the unit is stable very nice strong but i dislike the price because i had purchased this 6 month earlier at a lower price.
Built like a tank considering its price.
Packaging/appearance
Both are included in the packaging so there's nothing extra to buy.
It will take a little force to break the locktite loose.
Competitiveness
I had an old power convertor (it's heavy) in the closet and setting it behind the bottom unit kept the rack more stable.

I do not think this is intended for touring or gigging purposes but as a unit to hold your studio gear with the possible need for moving it around once in a while
