Pros

The quality is fabulous and the deal was incredible. An amazing value for the price. They are worth every cent and more.

It's well made and tracks nicely as you pull it along. The wheels make for a smooth ride - easy easy to push. In addition, the side handle helps with lifting.

The purple color is so pretty. Color is easy to identify on airport luggage carousel.

Easy to navigate through airport with this bag. Can handle all the bumps of air travel. Both bags expand to a nice size making it great for those of us who like to pack alot.

Cons

The interior shoulder pockets are much smaller and less padded. The zipper pulls are all smaller and the zippers themselves are thin plastic like you would find on a gym bag.

Bag is well built, but if your clothes are wrinkled, this presents a problem. Bag is also kind of flimsy and doesn't feel durable.

It arrived just in time as my husband and i were flying back to texas from oregon and our other luggage was not up to par anymore.

Packaging/appearance

It is very manuverable and easy to pack and i can also pack more then i can get in my bag.

Each suitcase has ample room for everything you need to pack.

Competitiveness

We've tried the less expensive suitcases and the airlines end up destroying them.

The couple times we tried with other brands, no matter how famous a name they were, we always came back to samsonite.

We bought same brand we have had for 15 years.
