Suggest purchasing a travel luggage cover for the case.
My issue is the ability to heave a suitcase onto the overhead bin and who wants to start with a suitcase that empty is too heavy.
The suitcase is quite light and strong, but i personally didn't want to collect the scratches folks seem to complain about.
Price
Don't think i would spend the $'s to purchase a larger one to check in for the gorilla handlers though.
Packaging/appearance
I can pack this suitcase full of clothes and still be able to lift it myself to put in the overhead bin.
Btw, use luggage packing cubes to help with the packing.
