It is extremely durable, lightweight, and keeps your clothes dry when being transported in the rain.
This is the only suitcase that has held up to the "man-handling" of the air line crews.
Update 11/28/13 -- after almost 3 years of heavy travel the zipper on the 32" is toasted!
They are constructed of layers of woven plastic, almost like a soft fiberglass shell.
Price
For now that makes them worth the price!
This suitcase is definitely worth every penny.
Price is high but these are the only super light spinner suitcases that i know of.
Packaging/appearance

Im not thrilled that these are closed with zippers because zippers have always been a weak spot on my suitcases one of the reasons i liked the hard cases
