Pros

The samsonite briefcase is sturdy and durable.

Cons

The latches are cheap and the locks are a joke. The right latch does not close properly so i have to sit there messing with it until it latches on and locks. This one seems to adhere to the present day cheap chinese knockoffs.

The glue used to keep the faux leather seams together is poor and comes apart way too easily. After putting this briefcase to work for 6 weeks the bottom seam split. The frame on the briefcase broke in about 1 year.

I am doubtful i will ever purchasing a samsonite product again if this is their idea of customer service and warranty policies. Instead of being able to exchange it they want you to go to a samsonites repair place… it’s terrible.

Quality

I have been using it for 2 1/2 months now and it is a good well built case.

This is well made, and perfect size!

Latches broke , leather cracked and did not last a year.

I have seen no wear on it, in spite of it being used 6 days per week lugging it in and out of the car, various offices, and hotels.

Price

I didn’t have a lot of money to spend but this turned out to be great!

The samsonite is not a $ 400 item so you get what you pay for .

Seems worth the money but we will see , i’m using it for all my paperwork for trucking, cab cards, permits etc.

It arrived quickly and without issues (unlike other briefcases i've ordered - or at least tried to).
