The actual incoming luggage looks like blue althought the description on carton saying it's purple.
Very heavy when packed, tho, so be prepared if you want to take a lot of items!
It also expands so well that when it's packed, the depth will turn out to be larger than stated.

I almost returned it but got a note in writing from american airlines that wheels are not included in measurement so i was good to go

We have used it only twice so i cannot spreak for its longevity but it is huge while still meeting the standard checked baggage size requirements and glides easily with the pivoting wheels
