Quality
This one does the job, and is a quality product.
I decided to give the samsungs a try as they have been recommended to me and i found a great deal here on amazon.
The other reviews speak for the quality of the drive.
The actual drive it's self is great, low noise, low heat, we all know samsung drives are a good quality product.
Price
Now i notice the price is starting to fall again.
It wasn't that wd support was not good, but i seemed to need far more often and the price of their drives were, at the time, much higher.
Shipping
Works quite wellwhile not traditional, the shipping container seemed secure and my drive arrived in perfect condition.
Both setups are stable and have fast read / write times .
I couldn't have asked for better bare-drive shipping.

Packaging/appearance
My most recent hd103sj came in clam-shell packaging, a box inside a box, with pillows.
This is a great drive at a great price and now has proper packaging.
However, i bought this exact drive from newegg about 2 months earlier (much better packaging.
Amazon seems to have heeded complaints about their packaging.
Competitiveness
Probably one of the best hard drives on the market for its price.
I have 8 samsung, they are the best hd on the market.
These models of 1tb samsung drives used to be $59!
Too bad seagate bought samsung's hdd division.

Sometimes a little noisy but unless youre trying to hear it spin you kind of tune it out
