Upgraded my surface pro 8 to 1tb flawlessly.
With external power now attached, my surface pro 8 immediately booted up and has been running great for the last several weeks.
After about 20 minutes, my old 256 gb hard drive had been cloned onto this new 1tb hard drive.
This is most crucial for gaming and it’s more or less random reading and writing which is where games come into.
Price
Marked as 4 stars because it's not a great deal or anything, you are getting what you pay for.
Was easy to install and all on my steam deck and it’s great speeds and all but a bit too expensive.
They are expensive but you pay for what you get.
Yes, this cost me a few more bucks, but it was worth it.

Most amazon deliveries have been taking a week to 12 days - we never get 2nd day, nor overnight from amazon any more.
I bought this specifically because of the promised delivery date.
