Pros

When it comes to this monitor, it's hard not to be enamored. Moving from three 27 monitors to this single setup eliminates the bezel breaks. The pixels density per inch is substantially greater than any monitor i have previously used.



Cons

After 4 or 5 firmware upgrades this problem still persist. The price is outrageous. I'm sick of having to question if i can accept what i'm being sold at face value or do i need to wonder if they are being deceptive.

It has a poor quality va panel with a very pronounced color shift depending on the angle you look at it. The curve in the middle helps with this, but the flat parts of the panel on the sides will show different color saturation than the middle. It has...  Read More

The core sync is certainly lacking because the rgb lighting on the back of the monitor is very dim.


The picture quality is very crips at full resolution.

Price


Price went up 1300$ just after a got a great deal on the 2023 model.


Should have had a built in camera for the giant price of 3.

    I used to have 2x 4k 28 inch monitors and eventually decided to get rid of the large black dividing line down the middle and use a single monitor

    I also got used to the curved screen very quickly and find it so much easier to work with multiple windows open also play games is very cool but dropping from a 4k resolution down to just 1440 vertical resolution did make my games look less clear and less defined

    The 5734 odyssey neo g9 defaults to a 7860 x 2160 resolution which packs the vertical 2160 pixels into about 39 cm

    Where as an asus rog strix xg43uq 43 inch 4k spreads the 2160 vertical pixels over about 52
