It's a really good price for the product you're getting.
High quality ssd, easy to install, great price and reliability.
Whatever, i'll use commercial, do backups and deal with the failure that has yet to occur.
The sata bus is pretty much maxed out with the 860 series, and i don't expect any performance improvements above the current model.
Price
Samsung 860 pro is great and at a reasonable price.
Competitiveness
Needing more space, i got this (500gb 860pro) to replace a 3-yr old 256gb 850.
We make heavy use of the ssds compiling code where a full build is of the order of 1-2gb.

The 3rd however is waiting to be reshipped as amazon sent me a opened box without the ssd even inside it someone had clearly bought this returned it by keeping the ssd and putting some old ram sticks taped inside
