Received as scheduled. No leaking issues. Happy ending, for now.

Small phillips head screwdriver is all that is required, one screw. Takes one screw and a single wire plug to replace. Was a direct replacement but a new revision.

This model fixes my samsung refrigerator rf267aepn. A bit pricey but still better then a service call or a new fridge. Used this in a samsung rfg298hdrs.

Installation is quick and easy. Just remove one screw, disconnect wiring harness push-up and pull out.

Cons

Caused plastic chips/shavings to be dispensed with the ice. Plastic clip to push the unit into and to get it out of the freezer was broken off.
