Nice size screen and the installs that came with the lap top where great.
I will continue to add to this list as i continue to work with the computer.
Had to update most of the software that is included but that is all most a given with the date produced.
As others have mentioned, i had a period of difficulty with the brightness settings which was ultimately fixed with a driver download.
Competitiveness
I paid a bit under $700 for mine and got a 1tb samsung evo ssd around the same time for $240 on cyber monday.
Other laptops that ihad looked at were of the same price, but had older versions of intel'sprocessors.

Ive had it for about a year now note i did not purchase it through amazon and have had no major issues except when i temporarily had windows 8

Ive seen and used many laptops over years working as computer repair guy samsung laptops are one of the better ones out there

This makes the samsung ideal if you dont want the preinstalled windows 8 and would prefer win 7
